This Town Is Lost Without You – EPK
New single from Michael Kratz – accompanied by a fine crew by David Garfield and Steve Lukather.
Almost two years after his last release, Michael Kratz is again ready with new material.
”This Town Is Lost Without You” is the title of the first of four singles from the upcoming (still unnamed) album, which is due out in the summer of 2015.
It is not because Michael Kratz has leaned to a lazy side, since the Danish WestCoast musician released his latest
material. Kratz has played a number of concerts in Germany, just as he has been involved in several projects with the German drum guru Tony Liotta, also in Germany.
In addition, Michael Kratz in 2014 appeared on Tony Liotta’s forthcoming album ”Hot Potato” as vocalist. Finally, Kratz played an approximately 70 gigs as a drummer in various contexts during 2014.
Nevertheless, he managed to write new songs for the new album, which already accommodates a wide range of musical playmates. Among them: Steve Lukather, Michael Landau, David Garfield, Tony Liotta and danish Kasper Viinberg, Ole Viinberg, Ole Kibsgaard, Christian Warburg, Michael Andersen, Mikkel Risum, Kasper Langkjær and Bjarne Langhoff.

Næsten to år efter hans seneste udgivelse, er Michael Kratz igen klar med nyt materiale.
“This Town Is Lost Without You” er titlen på den første af 4 singler fra det kommende (stadig unavngivne) album, som udkommer i løbet af sommeren 2015.
Det er ikke fordi Michael Kratz har ligget på den lade side, siden den danske WestCoast musiker udgav sit seneste materiale.
Kratz har spillet en række koncerter i Tyskland, ligesom han har medvirket på flere projekter med den tyske tromme guru Tony Liotta, ligeledes i Tyskland.
Derudover har Michael Kratz i 2014 medvirket på Tony Liotta’s kommende album “Hot Potato”, som vocalist.
Endelig har Kratz spillet en ca. 70 jobs som trommeslager, i forskellige sammenhænge i løbet af 2014.
Alligevel har han nået at skrive nye sange til det nye album, som allerede nu rummer en lang række musikalske legekammerater. Her i blandt: Steve Lukather, Michael Landau, David Garfield, Tony Liotta og danske Kasper Viinberg, Ole Viinberg, Ole Kibsgaard, Christian Warburg, Mikkel Risum, Kasper Langkjær, Michael Andersen og Bjarne Langhoff.
This Town Is Lost Without You er indspillet i Komo studiet (Herning), Kawer Studio (Aarhus) og Santa Monica CA, US.
