Gleich einen ganzen Block mit Themen, die eigentlich im Gespräch erörtert werden müssten, hat er sich notiert. Denn 2015 ist das Programm dicht gestaffelt.
Vor allem aber spielt Tony auf dem dem neuen Album des dänischen Gitarristen und Sängers Michael Kratz, mit, mit dem er dann auch auf Tour gehen will. Kratz hat neben seiner eigenen Band eine erlesene Musikerschar um sich versammelt: Michael Landau, David Garfield und Steve Lukather.
Aufnahmen in Los Angeles und Aplerbeck
Während Letzterer durch die Band Toto berühmt wurde, gelten die beiden anderen vor allem als gefragte Studiomusiker in den USA und haben nahezu alle Rockgrößen schon begleitet. Für die Percussion auf dem Album ist Tony verantwortlich.
Am 3. Februar soll die erste Single zum Album erscheinen. Im Anschluss ist eine große Tour geplant. Die ersten Songs wurden bereits im November medienwirksam in Los Angeles aufgenommen. Den Rest spielt Tony allerdings im Studio in seiner Drumschool in Aplerbeck ein.

2014 has been a fantastic journey! So many great things has happened.
Old and new friends has joined me on the way, to make my new album and I can’t wait to let it out!
I will release a minimum of 4 singles within the first five months of 2015. The album is set to be released late summer.
The first recordings features a lot of great musicians – I mean A LOT … and the list keeps growing …

David Garfield and Michael Landau featured on the new Michael Kratz project
The working title for the next release from Michael Kratz is ”We All Live In This Nation”.
The sessions began a few weeks ago at Kawer Studio in Denmark. Now the sessions has moved to LA, where David Garfield and Michael Landau will record keyboards and guitars on the project.
It’s a great honor to Michael, the guys in the band and producer Kasper Viinberg to work with Garfield and Landau.
Michael is very influenced by the American LA based WestCoast music. Garfield and Landau are a very important part of exactly that.
Great show in Dortmund
Michael Kratz was featured in Tony Liotta’s “Groove Attack” show in Dortmund on october 18.
It was an amazing show! Michael did a tribute part to Bryan Adams and of course he played his own stuff, with Liotta and friends.
It was a huge success and Michael is planning a tour in Germany in 2014 with his own band featuring Tony Liotta.

Just For The Occasion – again!
Michael confirms that he will do another gig with his spin off project “Just For The Occasion”.
The band will play at the Fuzzy Fest 2014 on june 14.
Just For The Occasion was original started by Michael and 6 of his friends, back in the 90’s.
The band played for the first time in nearly twenty years, at the Fuzzy Fest 2013 and was asked to come back in 2014.

Michael Kratz uses Tanglewood acoustics in the studio
Michael Kratz uses his new Tanglewood Sundance Anniversary Vintage Sunburst finish guitar on the forthcoming album.
The Tanglewood guitars was presented to Michael by Mega Music in Denmark. Michael was thrilled by the sound and the finish and use this lovely guitar on almost every gig now.
