Official statement from Art Of Melody Music & Burning Minds Music Group

The first official statement from Art Of Melody & Burning Minds Music Group regarding the signing of Michael Kratz.

“Live Your Life” will become a true classic for all AOR & Westcoast fans worldwide, thanks to an overall outstanding quality and passion. These key elements of Michael’s nature have opened doors for important collaborations with legendary musicians all over the world and “Live Your Life” is enhanced by guest appearances from some of the most acclaimed international music legends. A European release is expected for March 2018 via Art of Melody Music/Burning Minds Music Group. A dedicated Japanese release is set for April on AnderStein Music.

Michael Kratz signs deal with Italien and Japanese labels

Michael Kratz has signed a record deal with the Italien label Art Of Melody Music which is a sub-label to Burning Minds Music Group.

The label will release physical and digital editions of the upcoming studio album “Live Your Life” in Europe in march 2018 and in Japan in april 2018. The Japanese edition will be released by AnderStein Music.

They will also release a tripple CD later in 2018 in both Europe and Japan.

Michael Kratz co-writes and sing on Tony Liotta’s upcoming album

Michael Kratz will be co-writing two songs for the upcoming Tony Liotta album which will be released in 2018. Michael will also sing a couple of songs on the album.

Tony and Michael has a long history together. Tony joined Michael on stage in Herning (DK) back in february 2017 during the TV concert “Live Your Life LIVE”

In 2013 and 2016 Michael joined Tony in Germany at Tony’s Groove Attack concert series.

Daily Duranie: Authentically Michael Kratz!

If I had to sum up Michael in one word, it would be “authentic”. He is genuine in every sense, including his approach to music, which he describes as “old school”. His sound gives a loud shout out to the 1980’s, and Michael embraces this.

“I think my sound is pretty old-school. After many years in the music business I figured out, that I must be honest to myself and my roots. I have released several albums with different bands, but it was difficult for me to relate to the way the music was produced.”

Cross That Line (Re-issue) has been released

The brand new edition of Michael’s debut album has been released.
All songs are re-recorded, remixed and remastered to fit higher standards than the original release.

“I never actually liked the sound of the original release. For a long time I’ve wished to redo the album. Now we did that, says Michael”

Again the album is produced by Kasper Viinberg with great help from Ole Viinberg – just like the first edition of the album which was released by Sony Music in 2012.
